Modern Hangar Complex Progresses

Salina Airport's new hangar and office complex continues to progress despite recent snow. Recently, the grade beams on the west side were poured.

The footprint of the $6 million hangar project can now be seen as the construction progresses. The 69,000- square-foot modern hangar complex will feature 41,400-square-feet of hangar space, 22,600- square-feet of multi-purpose office space and 5,000- square-feet of customer service area. The hangar will be able to accommodate a 100-foot wingspan and 28- foot tail height.
