Modern Hangar Complex Progresses
The Salina Airport's new hangar and office complex
continues to progress despite the recent snow and
ice. Recently, the storm water drain line was installed
on the east side of the building. The staking is
complete, underground utility work is complete and
asphalt bas course paving is complete.
The footprint of the $6 million hangar project can now
be seen as the construction progresses. The 69,000-
square-foot modern hangar complex will feature
41,400-square-feet of hangar space, 22,600-
square-feet of multi-purpose office space and 5,000-
square-feet of customer service area. The hangar will
be able to accommodate a 100-foot wingspan and 28-
foot tail height.

| What's Right with Kansas |
| |
What is right with Kansas is a long list, and at the top
of it are our people. What's right is how you, the great
people of Kansas demonstrate your resilience and
patriotism every day while you have endured some
tough weather and tragic loss of life and while
thousands of Kansans are stationed and deployed
around the world, many directly in Harm's way.

General, director of Kansas Division Emergency
Management and director of Kansas Homeland
Security.
