New Hangar Office Complex Scheduled for October 2008 Completion

The Salina Airport's new hangar and office complex is proceeding on schedule for opening in October 2008. Steel is erected and masonry work continues. Plumbing and electrical work have also been started

The photo is taken from the Air Traffic Control Tower and illustrates the excellent location of the new facility. The hangar is just north of the CAV Aerospace hangar and south of Hawker Beechcraft Corporation. A large apron to the west will give the future tenants plenty of apron space.

The 69,000-square-foot modern hangar complex will feature 41,400-square-feet of hangar space, 22,600- square-feet of multi-purpose office space and 5,000- square-feet of customer service area. The hangar will be able to accommodate a 100-foot wingspan and 28- foot tail height.
