SeaPort Airlines to Change Flight Schedule

New departure times, same great customer care

Salina, Kan., (November 22, 2010) - SeaPort Airlines will change the flight schedule of its Midwest and Mid-South operations effective Nov. 29.  The new schedule will better accommodate the needs of Salina passengers.

The new departure times will offer more variety and a later option for customers returning to Kansas City, allowing longer day trips for the briefcase traveler or shorter layovers for leisure and business travelers catching late afternoon or evening connections out of Kansas City.  Customers flying from Kansas City to Salina will have more options as well, with the new schedule facilitating an afternoon flight in addition to a morning and evening flight.

Mid SouthFlights to Kansas City start as low as $49.  Passengers can continue to fly SeaPort to Harrison, Ark., just a short 45 minute drive from Branson, Mo., for as low at $118, or Memphis, Tenn. for less than $155.

"We are working with a customer in the Memphis area on a new industrial finishing system for their facility," explained IntelliFinishing Vice President Doug Oliphant.  "During the data collection and proposal presentation phase of the project, short face to face meetings are a must.  Seaport's ability to get me in and out of Salina along with the fact that they were always on time,  saved me over three hours of travel in each direction.  In other words, I gained nearly a day's worth of work in the office each time I made the trip to Memphis and the costs of the flights were very competitive."

With the application of the new schedule, flights from Salina to Kansas City will be offered at 7:30 a.m., 1:15 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.  Salina bound flights will be scheduled out of Kansas City at 9:00 a.m., 2:15 p.m., and 7:15 p.m. Weekday flights from Kansas City to Harrison and Memphis will depart at 9:10 am and 4:30 am.  Flights from Memphis will depart at 6:30 a.m. and 3:05 p.m. and from Harrison to Kansas City at 7:45 a.m. and 4:25 p.m.  The changes came after suggestions from local travel agents.

"Customer service is our primary focus, and we have high standards when it comes to the quality of service we provide to our guests," said SeaPort Airlines President Rob McKinney. "We'd be non-existent without their loyalty.  SeaPort is vigilant when it comes to listening to our passengers and looking for ways to improve our operations to facilitate further satisfaction."

SeaPort Airlines prides itself on its outstanding air service.  Customers can expect to encounter a unique travel experience from the moment they arrive for check-in at the terminal to the moment they reach their destination.  Without the hassle of waiting in large lines, passengers may arrive just 20 minutes prior to departure.  Customers can arrange to be met by a taxi or have their rental car waiting upon landing, creating a smooth transfer to the doorstep of their final destination.  All clients are met by friendly and skilled staff members, willing to answer questions and present a high-quality brand of customer service.

"My brother and I had a great experience on SeaPort," said Waddell & Reed Financial Advisor Brandon Ebert.  "When we got into Kansas City we were expecting about a two hour layover, but about 45 minutes prior to our scheduled flight time all the passengers were already there.  The pilots asked if anyone had a problem with leaving early so we got back to Salina much earlier than we expected.  Talk about catering to your customers.  As long as the schedule works, I'll fly SeaPort every chance I get."

SeaPort Airlines is a scheduled commuter airline, operating over 100 total daily scheduled within Oregon, Washington, Kansas, Missouri, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Alaska.  Each location consistently provides passengers with efficient and friendly service.
