Pilots waiting for the ladies to polish up their planes will
enjoy aviation movies and free pop and popcorn all day long. A
minimum tax-deductible donation of $150 is requested for a full wash and
wax and $50 is request for a wash only.
Women in Aviation, International is a nonprofit organization
which encourages the advancement of women who are striving for challenging
and fulfilling careers in the aviation and aerospace industries.
The K-State,
Salina chapter of the Women in Aviation, International organization is
slated to hold a Plane Wash and Wax and Move Marathon Saturday, Nov. 13 in
the east side of the Salina Municipal Airport's Hangar 600.
