Salina Military Affairs Council - Luncheon
The Salina Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to sponsor the second
monthly Military Affairs Council luncheon, Oct. 20 at Gutierrez
Mexican Restaurant, at 11:30 a.m. The cost is $10 per person.
This month's topic is "Employer Support of the Guard
and Reserves." The state director for ESGR , Mr. Mick Allen,
will discuss issues faced by business who employ National Guard and
Reserve Soldiers. There will be tips provided for both the
employer and employee as well as an outline of the soldier's
rights. Stop by for a delicious lunch to learn more.
Each month there will be updates from a variety of
civilian and military professionals. Topics covered will help
form a stronger relationship between Salina and the military forces
serving and training in the area. Meetings will be held on the
third Tuesday of each month at various locations in the city.
There will also be several special events scheduled throughout the year.
