Salina Airport Authority Advises
Salina, Kan.
September 8, 2005
The late summer airfield construction project at the
Salina Municipal Airport is progressing according to
schedule. The base material for the realignment of
Taxiway Bravo east of Runway 12-30 is now in
place.
Additionally, the removal of pavement between
Runway 35 and the new Threshold of Runway 30 is
well underway.
The following closures are still in effect:
- Runway 18-36 and Taxiway E remain closed. The
closures are expected to last until Tuesday, Sept.
20, 2005
- Runways 12-30 and 4-22 and Taxiway B will
remain closed through the remainder of the project.
All airfield construction is scheduled to be
completed by November 15, 2005.

additional information.
