The Salina Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to sponsor the newly established Military Affairs Council. Please join us in our first monthly lunch meeting on Tuesday, August 18th at 12 p.m. General Norman Steen will be the guest speaker. He will discuss the exciting changes at the

 Great Plains Joint Training Center and how those changes are affecting the Salina area.  Each month there will be updates from a variety of civilian and military professionals. Topics covered will help form a stronger relationship between Salina and the military forces serving and training in the area. 
 
Having military personnel and their families in Salina has a huge economic impact in Salina.  Stop by for an update, eat lunch and allow you and your business to interact with military families.  Meetings will be held on the third Tuesday of each month at various locations in the city.  There will also be several special events scheduled throughout the year.  Please look for details and a full schedule on the Chamber's web site at:
