Salina Aviation Service Center

The Salina Airport Authority has developed the SLN Aviation Service Center as a premier location for aviation businesses.

Industry leaders world-wide know the SLN Aviation Service Center has a winning combination of elements that make it the best location for aviation business.

These elements include K-State's College of Technology and Aviation, pending Foreign Trade Zone designation, state and local incentives, workforce recruiting and training assistance, turnkey building design and construction services, 100 percent project financing and more than 250 acres of available sites.

For current industry needs, more than 480,000 square feet of hangar, manufacturing and warehouse space is ready for immediate occupancy. Rental rates are competitive with similar facilities throughout North America.

These attributes, coupled with the Airport Authority's ability to finance more than $40 million in construction for new aerospace & aviation businesses make SLN a prime location for growth and productivity.

Developing the SLN Aviation Service Center is a capital intensive job that involves investment in both existing and new airport infrastructure. The Authority has completed more than $5 million in improvements to airfield runways and taxiways to keep the Salina Municipal Airport up-to-date with industry expectations and federal requirements.
