Salina Airport Authority Advises
Mesa Air Group and Air Midwest Officials to hold meeting at Salina Municipal Airport

Officials from Mesa Air Group and Air Midwest will
meet with representatives from the Salina Airport
Authority and the Salina Area Chamber of Commerce
on Wednesday, June 29th to discuss air service from
the Salina Municipal Airport.
Mesa Air Group's subsidiary, Air Midwest, operating as
USAirways Express, currently provides three flights a
day during the week and multiple weekend flights
from Salina to the Kansas City International Airport.
During Wednesday's meeting, airline representatives
will be discussing fares, flight schedules and the
effects of recent merger activity on local air service
in addition to the Department of Transportation's
Essential Air Service Program.
The media is invited to attend a session beginning at
2:00 p.m. in the Airport conference room located at
the M.J. Kennedy Air Terminal, 3237 Arnold Ave.,
Salina, KS. Representatives of Mesa Air Group/Air
Midwest will be available and will take
questions from the media at that time.
