Salina Municipal Airport has Potential for Over 60,000 Commercial Air Service Passengers

There is great potential for commercial air service at the Salina Municipal Airport, according to a study recently completed by the Sixel Consulting Group, Inc. of Eugene, Oregon. The study concluded that a vast majority of area residents are using other airports but would prefer to use Salina.

In order to attract this customer base, the City of Salina, Saline County, Salina Airport Authority and the Salina Area Chamber of Commerce will recruit a regional airline partner that can provide the right combination of schedule, hub connections, fares and aircraft type.
