Members of the Airport Rescue & Fire Fighting Crew
hone their emergency preparedness skills during a
First Aid Class. All members of the SAA ARFF crew are
"First Responders".

A group of 4th-6th graders take a peek inside the SAA's T-6 Fire Truck during a tour of the Salina Municipal Airport. The SAA is an active community participant in the Kansas Army National Guard's STARBASE Program. During 2000, over 600 children toured the Salina Airport and learned first-hand about airport related occupations including air-traffic controllers, fire-fighters, pilots, and airport managers.
